Bursa Malaysia

In conjunction with my plan to categorizing each of the listed companies into one of the 60 Jia Zi, I have posted some information of the history our stock exchange, Bursa Malaysia, here.

History of Bursa Malaysia

The history of Malaysia Stock Exchange dates back to 1930 when the first formal securities organization, Singapore Stockbrokers' Association was established. Subsequently, it was re-registered as Malayan Stockbrokers' Association in 1937 but no public shares have been traded then. Public trading of shares commenced when the Malayan Stock Exchange was established in 9 May 1960.

Bursa's Bazi

The Stock Exchange of Malaysia (SEMS) was officially formed in 1964. In 1973, the SEMS was separated into The Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange Bhd (KLSE) and The Stock Exchange of Singapore. KLSE was incorporated on 14 December 1976 as a company limited by guarantee and took over the operations of the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange Bhd.

On 14 April 2004, KLSE changed the name to Bursa Malaysia Bhd with the aimed at improving the product and service offerings, increasing the liquidity and velocity of the markets, improving efficiency of businesses and achieving economies of scale in operations.

On 18 March 2005, Bursa Malaysia was listed on the Main Board as Bursa Malaysia Securities Bhd.

The exchange received certifications for conformance to the ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System and ISO 14001:2004 Environmental Management System standards on 5 October 2007.

Definition

A Stock Exchange is a mutual organization which provides the facilities or platforms for shares and other securities to be bought or sold by the investors and traders alike. Besides the trading facility, the other exchange-related services are clearing, settlement and depository services. Most of the Stock Exchange nowadays also offers research and information services for its own market.

Any industry which relates to the finance is categorised as the metal element. The metal element consists of two polarities that are Geng and Xin. For matter that I can't explain which is based more on personal feeling (if the idea flash across my mind I will post it into the comment column), I have eliminated the Geng Metal from being the Jia Zi of the stock exchange.

Xin Chou

I have considered few of the Xins like Xin Chou, Xin Wei and Xin Si as the Jia Zi for the Stock Exchange. At last I have chosen Xin Chou due to the reasons:

  1. Xin is one of the metal elements which represent the financial industry. It also an element that everyone has a perceive value on it.
  2. The mentioned of a facilities and platform for shares to be traded very much refer to the earth element which is in the Chou, Si and Wei.
  3. The stock exchange besides its subsidiary also comprises the member of the stock brokers and the listed companies. This is where the companion star, Friend and Rob Wealth Stars, converge. Hence, Wei is eliminated.
  4. Further looking at the functions of stock exchange like the depository, research and information services which are represented the graveyard that plays storage role as well as the Indirect Resource Star which provides information.
  5. The minor Gui is the Wealth of the Ji result of the output of Xin. The stock exchange does have huge cash reserves from the contribution of its services as well as the fees paid by companies for listing in the exchanged.

It is a common misunderstanding between the stock exchange i.e. Bursa and the overall Malaysian's stock market. We refer to Malaysian's stock market, we consider the condition of the trading market whether it is bullish or bearish. As such the stock market Jia Zi is Xin Si. The Bing in the Si represents the public market where thousands of different companies trade their shares. It is like the many living creatures and objects under the Sun which rise and set with the cycle of day and night. The market also comes with the cycle of up and down. The Xin Si is also a hidden combo of water which explained the volatile natures of the stock market.

When you put the Chou and Si together, it push-out the You. With the Three Hormony Combination, you have one great network of the Rob Wealth and Friend Stars converging in the stock market industry.

The Pen Is Mightier Than The Sword

Recently, I came across this phrase in an article I read. It says, "The Pen Is Mightier Than The Sword". It means that the written words are more powerful and effective than says err… stabbing someone.

Pen is mightier than the sword

It is a nice phrase and should be embraced by those in power to run a country as well as those who are in the newspaper industry.

When it comes to governance of human beings, our thoughts, our thinking, our words and our communication far outweigh violence and war.

You can always choose to change one person's opinion through forces or change the masses through words of wisdom. The choice is always up to you. But if one can win a war without any blood shed, then it is a true victory.

This is the power of Geng Yi Combination.

Of course, I much prefer that someone wrote bad stuff about me than having a nine inch knife stab into my guts. Not that I know anyone would or could hate me that much but you never know. So far I have met a lot of nice and wonderful people. And I know they are more out there. Hope you will like me and my cheeky non-sensible post.

Okay, enough of my babbling.

I wish you, my friends and fan out there, a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. May all the Love, Joy and Happiness be with you for the coming year!

A Reason, A Season or A Lifetime

Recently, I received an email from my friend which I find very interesting. It kind of describe people come and go in your life at each Luck Pillar whether it is for better or otherwise. The person who wrote this must have gained lot wisdom through his or her journey in life. It is quite brilliantly written. Here is the article:

A Reason, A Season or A Lifetime

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
People come into your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime. When you know which one it is, you will know what to do for that person.
When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually. They may seem like a godsend and they are. They are there for the reason you need them to be.
Then, without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk away. Sometimes they act up and force you to take a stand.
What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled, their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered and now it is time to move on.
Some people come into your life for a SEASON, because your turn has come to share, grow or learn. They bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh. They may teach you something you have never done. They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy. Believe it, it is real. But only for a season.
LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons, things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation. Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person and put what you have learned to use in all other relationships and areas of your life.
It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant.
Thank you for being a part of my life, whether you were here for a reason, a season or a lifetime.
I also wish to thank you for being here with me and giving me the support with your comments and compliments. Thank you for being a part of my life, whether you were a reason, a season or a lifetime.
And
MERRY CHRISTMAS & HAPPY NEW YEAR!
2012
Lately, the Maya Calendar's story about the end of the world around 21 - 24 December 2012 seems to get a lot attention. There is even a recent movie called "2012" about it. I know most of you would have seen or at least heard of it. How far can this be true? It may be just a myth. May be the descendant of the Maya society (no pun intended) just didn't have the foresight to update it from their ancestor which resulted all this Huha! of the world going to end soon when the calendar run out on 21 December 2012.
Anyway, there are really people buying into this apocalypse story. Some has even gone as far as joining mass suicide event on 2012. There were two teenagers who are considering killing themselves, because they didn't want to be around when the world ends. Two women were contemplating killing their children and themselves so they wouldn't have to suffer through the end of the world. I come across Joe283 at allindiaforums.com commenting on 2012 which I truly agree. Here is what the fellow says, "IF (big if) the world is going to end in 2012, you obviously don't need to be suicidal, the job will be done for all of us in 2012".
However with the earth quake, typhoon and flood phenomenon in recent years, it does cause for some concern as to what's going to happen to our planet earth. I do hope that more people will be aware of the environment and take more care to conserve the planet earth.
The Chinese Solar Calendar on 21 December 2012 looks as follow. Will it gives a doom day scenario? Will there be another day after 21 December 2012?
I don't know about those who contemplating of suicide, but my mind bring me to more practical thoughts. At the moment I am thinking if there is no tomorrow after 21 December 2012, shall I stop paying my bills now like my car loan, housing loans, credit card bills etc. Besides the bills, shall I also spend like nobody business? Take the trip to Europe that I have always wanted. Buy the BMW that I have been eyeing for quite some time. Resign from my job at this very moment.
And you know what? If I am going to let all things fly to wind, I bet I do not need to wait until 21 December 2012 for the doom day. My Rob Wealth fellows a.k.a. creditors will come knocking at my door step much sooner. They are after all very efficient creatures. And I am pretty sure they bring the hell along as well.
So thou shall not be so drastic, ya. After all, the 21 December 2012 chart does paint a beautiful picture. It shows a rising sun, the mountain with clouds and a beautiful lake reflecting the picturesque scenery. It will be a beautiful year in 2012.
P/S: Can't find the picture to reflect what I want. Hope the above will do but I think it has too much clouds and it is not the green mountain that I am looking for.
Tiger Snake Monkey
I have just finished my Bazi M4 yesterday. Five days in a role. It feels very much like a crash course. There are so many stuffs to absorb, so little time. I think I have crashed. My brain feels very heavy; maybe it is due to information overload. It is 10.15 a.m. and I have just waked-up. : P
What do I remember about the course? Nothing! I am afraid it has fly back to my teacher. But I am very happy to meet so many people there. Lee Yen who has always in my facebook, I only met her during the M3 class for the first time. Funny isn't it? I really get to know her and her friend more, Lynn in M4. Both of them are quite funny, and quite a joker. Then there is Alice, a very business minded lady.
I am also quite impressive with Wu Shen lady's Bazi skill. She can read the Bazi Charts of a family and able to put together bit and pieces of the family's life story together. Amazing!
Like in the class, there are also many intelligent people out there in this circle of industry. So many Masters and Grandmasters per se. Information abounds and each has their own techniques and theories in the Chinese Metaphysics world.
As I quietly listen to the conversation around me during the dinner as well as the class, it makes me contemplate. And there are always a lot of gossips and rumors flying around, not just in the class for more to wonder. What has set those intelligent people apart, and make one successful and others aren't? A man with vision. A vision to bring what has been viewed as lowly vocation on the three-foot-way into respected profession. And relentless pursue and making it a reality not just here but also in the world.
Cynical world out there, we have. What is a boost of image to the profession, have been felt by many as more of a threat and competition than a benefit of everyone. Lots of badmouthing, and who and who techniques are better or the supposedly original classic, are flying around.
I believes that no amount of Bazi and Fengshui techniques or theories will make you a visionary or beat one. Life is fair. What you contributed out is what you see in returns.
I am back with my post again. Hopefully in a more regular basis. Happy Winter Solstice.
